MESSAGE FROM BISHOP KASUN

Dear Parishioners of St. John's,

I am pleased to announce the appointment by Cardinal Francis Leo of Fr. Andrew Cyruk as pastor of St. John's Parish for a period of six years, effective September 1st, 2026. Previously, Fr. Andrew was the pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Mississauga. I know the community will joyfully welcome Fr. Andrew to the St. John's faith community.

Fr. Joshua Roldan continues his health leave of four months. He is doing well, but will not be returning to St. John's following his health leave. He will be appointed to ministry elsewhere in the Archdiocese, but the location has not yet been determined by Cardinal Leo. Fr. Joshua expresses his gratitude for the many expressions of support and for the prayers offered by the members of St. John's Parish. 

The time of service of Fr. Yaw Acheampong at St. John's is quickly coming to a close as of August 31st.  Fr Yaw has served as the substitute pastor for July and August of this year. On behalf of the Archdiocese and the people of St. John's Parish, thank you to Fr. Yaw, for your faithful and generous service to the people of St. John's. Your willingness to be of continued service in the Archdiocese is very much appreciated by all those who have benefitted from your pastoral care.
